Introduction There’s lots of important information on this page and the legal page that you need to read and understand before clicking “I agree to these Terms of Use” below. By selecting agree you’ve formed a binding agreement between your company and the MedCAREERS Network. The MedCAREERS Network may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. Ongoing use of our site and its services will be considered your acceptance of the then current Terms of Use. If at any time you find these terms unacceptable you should no longer use this MedCAREERS Network site. If you have any questions about the terms in these pages please direct them to customer support. Please Note: The MedCAREERS Network does not provide free or trial memberships on any of our sites. Liability The MedCAREERS Network does its best to provide our users with a richly functioning site to support healthcare job posters finding qualified healthcare candidates and vice versa. We include features, content and services to enhance and enrich this process. We are not, however, an employment agency or a recruiting firm and cannot guarantee that information posted by users will result in candidates being hired or jobs being filled. Candidate selection, evaluation and hiring are responsibilities of the user; and the MedCAREERS Network assumes no liability for the candidate quality or subsequent actions, performance and conduct of the employee. Nor can we assume any responsibility for the content or conduct of our users – reliance on our content or the actions of our users is at your own risk. Job Posting Rules The MedCAREERS Network is designed to manage the career needs of healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals employed by a healthcare employer. Job postings should represent individual, legitimate and verifiable W-2 or 1099 jobs with a specific employer. Job postings should contain all information necessary to describe the position and not refer Job Seekers to other sources for information or additional opportunities. Job posting content should be honest, accurate, not contain objectionable or discriminatory information, and must comply with the MedCAREERS Network Job Posting Guidelines. The MedCAREERS Network reserves the right to remove any posting(s) that do not meet these criteria. You are solely responsible for entering your job postings, responding to inquiries regarding those posting, maintaining the postings and ultimately removing the postings. Job Posters with large numbers of jobs to post and maintain can be supported with our Job Import capabilities – contact sales@medcareers.com for more information. Conduct Rules MedCAREERS Network sites and services are intended for individuals seeking employment and for employers (or their authorized agents) seeking candidates for employment. Individuals who use the site or the information made available on the site for other purposes may have their accounts suspended at MedCAREERS Network discretion. The following actions are considered grounds for suspension: 1. Responding to postings for any purpose other than to apply for a job or initiate discussions with a candidate as part of the recruitment or hiring process. 2. Placing job postings that exclusively refer Job Seekers to another site for job opportunities. 3. Sending unsolicited commercial messages to any MedCAREERS Network user via email. 4. Sharing your account and/or password with anyone else. If you are the object of inappropriate conduct on the site or encounter inappropriate postings, please report it immediately to our customer service team at 800.307.1038, M-F, 9a-5p ET or by email at customersupport@medcareers.com. Registration and Privacy In order to support Job Seekers and Job Posters on the site, we ask you to provide a great deal of information during the registration process and during the posting of resumes and jobs. This information is carefully protected per our Privacy Policy and your documented preferences regarding privacy and communications. The MedCAREERS Network will honor your documented requests regarding email contact but reserves the right to communicate with Job Posters using your information, including email, in order to provide administrative support and communication regarding your account. Single Posting Membership Single Posting Members are charged per job posting at the posted rates. Charges for job postings are applied at the time the job posting is created and will be reflected on the next weekly invoice cycle. Once purchased, each job posting is valid for 30 days after which it will become inactive or automatically renew based on the job duration you assigned to the job posting. If you choose to re-activate a job after 30 days, it will be considered a new job posting and you will be charged as described above. Jobs that are set to automatically renew will be considered new jobs and will be charged accordingly. Single Posting members can choose to be notified by email 5 days before the inactivation or renewal of the job with instructions on how to alter the status if so desired. Single Posting members may update, change or edit each job as many times as desired during the full 30 day period without incurring additional charges. Single Posting Membership accounts will remain active for use at a later time without incurring any charges. Charges are only assessed when active job postings are entered. Regular Memberships (Resume Mining, Full and Premium) Regular members are charged a flat monthly rate based on their membership type. Memberships work like a subscription – there is no set duration and your membership will remain open until you notify customer support to close your membership. Regular memberships are invoiced monthly for the current month of use. Your first invoice will be issued within 1 – 10 days of your account being approved and monthly there after until you close the membership. See the Invoice section below for detailed terms. Full and Premium memberships include a specific number of available active job posting slots, ability to view the Hot List of recently registered job seekers, ability to search the candidate database, a specific discount on Advanced Visibility Options and complete access to available online resources and publications. Charges do not vary based on the number of active job postings. Adding job postings (up to the membership limit) will not affect the rate nor will removing job postings cancel the membership or reduce the membership rate. Each Resume Mining membership includes unlimited access to the MedCAREERS Network job seeker database as well as the Hot List of the most recently registered job seekers. Job Seeker registration requires the job seeker to complete a professional profile but not a full resume. We encourage candidates to enter full resume information online but it is not required. We do not pre-screen, qualify or guarantee availability of candidates in any way. It is the sole responsibility of the Resume Mining member to actively use the features of their membership as well as to screen job seekers found on the site. The monthly membership rate will not vary based on frequency of use, the number of candidates found or the perceived quality of the candidates in the database. Invoices Invoices are addressed according to the information entered in the Billing Information segment of your registration and include a detailed summary of all chargeable activities initiated in the month. It is your responsibility to keep the Billing Payment information current. All payments are due within 30 days from the invoice date. Invoices may be paid by check or credit card in US dollars. Late payments may be subject to late fees. Accounts with an outstanding balance approaching 60 days may be suspended until paid in full or payment arrangements have been established. There is a $25 reinstatement fee for reinstating an account that was suspended for non-payment. The MedCAREERS Network reserves the right to require specific payment terms prior to reinstating accounts that have been suspended for non-payment. Accounts submitting payment checks that are returned for ‘non-sufficient funds’ will suspended and be charged a returned check fee of $50. 24-Hour Guarantee A 24-hour guarantee period will apply to all Single Posting Member job postings and new regular memberships. If for any reason, you want to cancel a Single Posting Member job posting or a regular membership (Resume Mining Full, Premium), you may do so without obligation within 24 hours of your registration. To cancel within 24 hours, please email customersupport@medcareers.com with the phrase “24 Hour Cancellation” in the subject line. The 24-hour period will be calculated based on the system time captured with the Single Posting job posting or the regular membership registration entry. Canceling Your Membership Regular Memberships do not close automatically after one month, after postings are taken off line or if site services are not utilized. To discontinue use of your Regular membership and not be invoiced for the membership you must actively cancel your membership by calling or emailing MedCAREERS Network customer support. Any member wishing to cancel their membership or single job posting after the 24 hour guarantee period must contact customer support at 800.307.1038, M-F, 9a-5p ET or by email at customersupport@medcareers.com.
