Description: We are currently seeking a Per-Diem Physician, Occupational Health to provide medical oversight in our client worksite Health clinic in Napoleon, Ohio !! As part of Walgreens Health and Wellness division, Take Care Health Systems includes Take Care Consumer Solutions (www.takecarehealth.com) Take Care Employer Solutions (www.takecareemployersolutions.com) managers of worksite-based health and wellness services. The company combines best practices in healthcare and the expertise and personal care of our trusted community of providers to deliver access to high-quality, affordable and convenient healthcare to all individuals. We operate on-site employee health centers, pharmacies and fitness centers for many of the countrys largest corporations and federal agencies. This role is 2 hours per week Essential Functions: 1) Oversight for occupational health services at our client location including regulatory medical surveillance exams 2) Support best practice in Occupational Health driven by evidenced based practice guidelines and national disability guidelines 3) Identify and collaborate with local providers who will work with Take Care to provide diagnostic and treatment of work related injury and illnesses 4) Provides consultation for occupational health issues, policies and protocols and OSHA recordkeeping 5) Provide oversight for our on-site Registered Nurse Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited medical school At least three years of post-residency clinical experience Experience in a primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting. (Occupational healthcare experience may apply in some clinics). Licensed to practice medicine in the state within which the site is located Must be Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas. If Board Eligible, must take certification exam with the AOA or ABMS within twelve months of date of hire Must have current state and federal DEA certification Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification may be required for some positions Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records. Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations. Other Qualifications: Requirements as set forth in the specific contract for the site may include working flexible hours including evenings, nights and weekends.
