PROFESSOR IN NEUROLOGICAL SURGERY, NEWARK, NEW JERSEY
The Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Department of Neurological Surgery is recruiting a new full-time, fellowship-trained, Cerebrovascular/Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join our faculty. Along with the rest of our faculty in the Department of Neurological Surgery, this new faculty member will manage and build upon our department’s thriving Cerebrovascular/Endovascular Neurosurgery Program where we use the most current technologies available to care for our Cerebrovascular/Endovascular patients. Given our nationally recognized Comprehensive Stroke Center designation, this position is an excellent opportunity to join an established high volume practice.
The Neurological Surgery Department houses the only allopathic Neurosurgery Residency Training Program in New Jersey and collaborates with an extensive array of health care providers across the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences units. The well-qualified candidate will join a rapidly growing academic department and will be encouraged to excel amongst our team of Neurosurgeons that are dedicated to giving the highest quality of care to our patients. This candidate will be expected to establish clinical trials in Cerebrovascular/Endovascular Neurosurgery and to contribute to clinical, educational and research activities as well as maintain the academic effort that are consistent with an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery.
Salary will commensurate with ability, training and experience, and is designed to attract an outstanding physician.
